About the Jerusalem Coin

Depicted on the coin with the utmost detail is the temple era “City of Gold”, surrounded by ancient stone walls and magnificent archways. The holy city of Jerusalem is crowned with a beautifully envisioned Third Temple standing on high. The words “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem” both in Hebrew and English, ring the exquisite artwork. 

The reverse side features a menorah of seven branches, an enduring symbol of peace and light unto the nations. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the temple menorah to once again radiate eternal light throughout the world.

We donate a portion of all proceeds to the City of David Foundation, an organization committed to continuing King David’s legacy, by strengthening Israel’s historical connection to Jerusalem and rebuilding the ancient city.

The City of David Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1986. Through a variety of projects, this vital organization is dedicated to the preservation, development and revitalization of the biblical City of David and its environs.

Over 3000 years ago, King David established Jerusalem (Yerushalaim) as the capital of Israel. Using modern archeological evidence, the City of David unearths the truth of biblical events and reveals the unbroken link between the Jewish people and Jerusalem.
