This feminine Star of David is formed with six opal hearts in sterling silver. What could be more beautiful?
The hexagram or “Star of David”, was popularized in the 14th-century by the King of Bohemia, Charles IV, who prescribed for the Jews of Prague a red flag with the star, then called the “Shield of David”. The modern flag of Israel displays the same six-pointed star in blue on a white background, between two horizontal blue stripes.
